GameSetWatch features an interesting column about mech designs. The article mentions Junji Okubo. This guy is the responsible for Steel Battalion´s mech designs (love the concept and realization of the game) and other cool mechanical designs that you can see in his web. The column talks about For the Barrel, a serialized novel that re-imagine the history of Gundam (I have been searching and I hadn’t found too much information about it).

CARNAGE HEART

When I discovered this game I downloaded and played it (Hey! I don’t have a Playstation and this type of games are really hard to find in Spain). It’s a strategy game where your goal is to conquer a territory. To do that, you have to battle the bad ones. But battles are not like the average mech fighting game, in Carnage Heart you have to design (selecting the weapons, body, armour...) and program (in an easy visual - block - programming language) your mech before you throw them to the battle.
